The NCAA® Pinnacle of Fitness™ challenge is a health and wellness platform designed to educate, challenge and improve the well-being of individuals and communities. Middle schools from across the nation were invited to participate in the NCAA Pinnacle of Fitness Challenge to motivate their students to improve health and wellness.

By using various physical fitness activities, each middle school will qualify 10 students to compete on-court during designated halftimes at selected NCAA Division I women’s basketball games. To view how the NCAA Pinnacle of Fitness Challenge is performed and see several middle school students in action please click on the link below. The middle school students who you will see participating may win a trip to compete at the NCAA National Pinnacle of Fitness Challenge conducted at the 2009 Women’s Final Four® in St. Louis, Missouri, on April 5 and 7. Students from the winning middle schools in each area will be provided the opportunity to compete on Center Court at NCAA Hoop City® Refreshed by Coca-Cola® during the 2009 Women’s Final Four. There one middle school will be named the 2009 NCAA Pinnacle of Fitness Challenge Champion.
